How to return an item ?

Return Procedures

In order to request a return, please use the chatbot on the lower right corner and select the "I want to return an item" option. One of our representative will request more information and will explain the return procedures.

Packaging Returns

The return must be properly packaged to protect against damage in transit. For all new products, the item must be sent back in its original packaging.

Please note that any damage caused by mishandling, improper installation or product defacement will result in your return being denied and the product being returned to you.

Return and Refund Processing

Please allow 1-2 business days for products to be processed after being received. Once your return has been processed, we will send you an email regarding your return.

Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method. Once your return has been processed, please allow 2-5 business days for your refund to post to your account.


These are Microtec's Overall Return Guidelines. All returns must meet the overall guidelines in order for the individual return policy to apply.

Individual Policy

Items can be returned for a refund or a replacement but the return request must be within 30 days of the delivery date.

Product Lifespan

Using PC components and systems for cryptocurrency mining is known to significantly decrease the lifespan of the product due to overuse. This includes, but is not limited to: CPUs, video cards, solid-state and hard disk drives. In general, Microtec will not accept returns of products which have exceeded the product’s lifespan due to overuse.

For products labeled as "Open Box", Microtec accepts all returns within the product’s eligible return period (30 days from delivery date). This applies to all Open Box products sold and shipped by Microtec.


Returns are subject to restock fees of 15%-30% of the purchase price.

Microtec will deduct the fees from the refund amount on all returns, subject to the Return Policy. Microtec has the right to adjust the value of any items returned for refund to reflect its current market price. In this case, the restocking fee will be applied after the adjustment.

Microtec does not charge restock fees for the returns of defective products or products that are damaged during the shipment or if you receive the wrong item.

In the event that a returned product was not defective or the correct item was sent, the product will either be returned to the customer or the return shipping cost, initially covered by Microtec, will instead be deducted from the refunded amount along with any necessary restock fees that may apply.

Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs. Microtec does not charge for return shipping labels for returns of defective products, products damaged during the original shipment, or if you received the wrong item, or the item did not match what was shown on the Site.

For returns of unopened items that are returned in the original condition as shipped that were originally shipped via large item shipments, customers are responsible for any return shipping costs.

In the event a product is returned that is not defective or an incorrect product or where the product does match what was shown on the Site, the product will either be returned to the customer or the return shipping cost initially covered by Microtec will instead be deducted from the refund amount along with any necessary restocking fee that may apply.

Additional Terms

Refused shipments are treated like regular returns and may be charged a non-refundable 15% restocking fee.

A defective product that is returned may be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion, unless otherwise required by law.

Refused Return Reasons

Any product that does not exhibit the described reason for the return (i.e., a return initiated for a DOA product that powers on and works properly upon inspection).

Any product with a missing, damaged, altered, or unreadable serial number label, manufacturer model number or part number label, and/or warranty label will not be refunded due these alterations.

This also included any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its packaging.

Any product that exhibits physical damage or any product which appears to have been tampered, customized or altered in any way will not be eligible for refund.

Any product that is returned without the original packaging and all accessories; including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product will be considered as non refundable items.

Any product that is returned with markings or writing made by the customer on the original box will not be eligible for a refund.
